“Our previous experiences working with Aquatec proved they have the know-how to deliver a successful pump station package. We always feel confident that Aquatec provide a complete package without the hidden surprises that other suppliers can have."

A trusted partner for local councils and contractors

Due to the low-lying and flood-prone conditions of a particular site in Mudgeeraba, Queensland, FB Contracting needed a solution that would minimise the time of an open excavation. Having previously worked with Aquatec on other successful pump stations in Queensland, FB Contracting knew that our precast concrete pump station would allow for quick installation and minimise the risks related to the ground conditions and potential site flooding.

After consulting with Gold Coast City Council, the benefits of using a precast pump station over a cast in-situ were understood, and FB Contracting worked with Aquatec towards a problem-free installation.

End-to-end service

Aquatec’s solution included the full detailed design, council approval, delivery, construction, fitout and commissioning of a 3,200mm diameter x 6.51m deep concrete pumping chamber with a Gold Coast City Council-approved HDPE liner to their specifications.

“Aquatec’s commitment to service makes them easy and efficient to work with. We always know that we are going to get the attention that is required to ensure a quality and timely project. We have no issues recommending Aquatec to future clients and this is shown by other installations that we are currently completing with Aquatec.”
